How to reach us

Lipari is the largest island of the Aeolian archipelago and can be reached by sea from Milazzo, Naples, Messina, Reggio Calabria, and Palermo, depending on the time of year.

rom Milazzo:
  • By hydrofoils and ferryboats (the latter allow transportation of cars, motorcycles, and bicycles) operated by Siremar
  • By hydrofoils operated by Liberty Lines
  • By ferryboat (which allows transportation of cars, motorcycles, and bicycles) operated by Caronte & Tourist.
The port of Milazzo can be reached from major Italian and Sicilian cities, as well as from Sicilian airports of Catania and Palermo, by train or by bus with Giuntabus and Dipaola viaggi.

From Reggio Calabria:
  • Year-round by Liberty Lines hydrofoils to Messina, then continuing either by direct hydrofoil from the same company or by reaching Milazzo by train or by bus with Giuntabus and A.S.T.
  • In certain periods of the year by direct Liberty Lines hydrofoils
From Messina:
  • By hydrofoils operated by Liberty Lines. The route is served once daily, every day except Saturday throughout the year, and with four daily trips (every day) in summer
From Naples:
  • Year-round by ferryboat (which allows transportation of cars, motorcycles, and bicycles) operated by Siremar, covering the route from Naples Beverello port twice a week
  • In summer directly by hydrofoils from Napoli Beverello operated by Liberty Lines.
From Palermo (summer only):
  • By hydrofoils operated by Liberty Lines. The route is served once daily.
